SEOUL, South Korea – August 14, 2025 – SFEXTECH Co., Ltd., a leading provider of advanced fire protection technologies, participated in Data Center Korea 2025, held from August 13 to 14 at the aT Center in Yangjae, Seoul. At the exhibition, the company unveiled a range of cutting-edge fire safety solutions designed specifically for critical infrastructure within data centers.

Data Center Korea is South Korea’s only dedicated trade exhibition for the data center industry, bringing together key stakeholders to explore emerging technologies and share industry trends. During the event, SFEXTECH introduced its suite of fire protection solutions applicable to electrical rooms, battery racks, and energy storage systems (ESS). The spotlight was placed on the company’s flagship product, the SFEX Thermal Barrier, a high-performance thermal insulation panel engineered to suppress fire spread due to thermal runaway events in lithium-ion battery systems.

The SFEX Thermal Barrier is specifically designed for installation in existing battery enclosures without requiring structural modifications. Despite its ultra-thin profile, the barrier provides robust resistance against extreme heat and flame, effectively containing thermal events at the source. The product can be installed in multiple layers, allowing scalable thermal resistance depending on system requirements.

Developed to mitigate one of the most critical fire hazards in data centers—thermal runaway propagation within ESS modules—the SFEX Thermal Barrier aims to prevent chain-reaction fires and ensure localized containment. To demonstrate this, SFEXTECH presented a full-scale battery cabinet equipped with the SFEX Thermal Barrier at its booth, enabling visitors to observe its real-world applicability.

In addition to the thermal barrier solution, SFEXTECH also showcased a range of complementary fire protection technologies, including
